11 The bodies were found around the helicopter crash site in the waters turoy


A total of 11 bodies found after helicopter crash carrying 13 passengers in the waters west of Norway, Friday (04/29/2016).


Based on information from the rescue team, quoted by AFP news agency, the search process continues, to find the other two victims. Heli is known to carry 13 people.

Super Puma helicopter that crashed en route from the North Sea oil refineries. Among the victims there were 11 residents of Norway, one Briton and one Italian.


Previously reported, according to reports in local media, said there were an estimated 13-17 people inside the helicopter.

Some witnesses claimed to see a huge explosion from the direction of the sea. Meanwhile, the television network TV2 reported that a number of passengers were rescued from the crash.


"Emergency services are heading to the area near Turoy after hearing the helicopter crash," Norwegian police said in a statement through his Twitter account.


Turoy is an island in the western city of Bergen.
