Arriving in London, Jokowi will meet British Prime Minister and Speech in Front of Parliament


President Joko Widodo (Jokowi) and his entourage arrived in London, England on Monday (18/04/2016) afternoon, local time.

Team Communications President Ari Dwipayana said, the new President and his entourage will begin a state visit on Tuesday (04/19/2016) local time.
"The President is scheduled to follow some agenda. First, he is scheduled to meet British Prime Minister David Cameron," Ari said in a press release.
Second, the president will deliver a speech in the session of the Marine Environment Protection Committee (MEPC) of the International Maritime Organization.
Third, the President will also speak at the event and the last UK Parliament, which met the Indonesian community in London.
Accompanying the President, the Coordinating Minister for Economic Affairs Nasution, Pramono Agung Cabinet Secretary, Minister of Foreign Affairs Retno Marsudi, Trade Minister Thomas Lembong and Head of BKPM Franky Sibarani.
During one week, the president carry out a working visit to Europe. Germany and the Netherlands are two countries that have been visited by the President.
Topics working visit this time was to strengthen cooperation with the EU, especially in economics and tolerance and build world peace.
