Director of Traffic Polda Metro Jaya, Senior Commissioner Risyapudin Nursin said police will re-sterilize Transjakarta bus special lanes so that buses could arrive at stops every 30 seconds.
"There needs to be sterilized. Sterilization is ... for the sake of guaranteeing the public (about) the timeliness," said Risyapudin at the office of PT Transjakarta, Cawang, East Jakarta, Monday (04/18/2016).
According to him, sterilization will be carried out with the effort of making barrier and separator.
To Dirlantas Polda Metro Jaya called for cooperation with the Department of Highways DKI. "We ask the Regional Government through the DGH to prepare barrier along the busway lane. For the long term may separator will be built along the corridor I so people actually moved from the mode of public transport to the private transportsi," said Risyapudin.
Separators will be made on the lines of Transjakarta often intruded private vehicle drivers.
PT Transjakarta today operates 247 buses in corridor I Blok M-Kota to support testing the elimination of 3 in 1. With this amount, PT Transjakarta predict the arrival distance bus at each stop takes only 30 seconds.
