Problem airports Kulonprogro, Jokowi: I want a nice planned
President Joko Widodo (Jokowi) led the limited meeting on development Kulonprogro Airport, Yogyakarta. According to Jokowi, the airport development plan has long sounded.
"I heard that the airport development plan in Kulonprogro had been planned for a long time, many have waited. But we know the court has not yet begun the process," said Jokowi at the State Palace Jl Veteran, Central Jakarta, Monday (09/05/2012) ,
In fact, said Jokowi, Adi Sutjipto International Airport is now inadequate. The airport serves 3.5 million flights each year.
"Whereas the airport's capacity is only 1.5 million passengers per year, and increasing airport capacity have had an impact and added value to the regional economy, particularly DIY," he said.
Yogyakarta Governor Sri Sultan Hamengkubuwono X and MOC Ignatius Jonan attend this meeting. Jokowi then asserted, not wanting to infrastructure projects delayed.
"I want the new airport is planned carefully, of course not only for 5-10 years to come, but that can be up to 30-50 years to come, and integrated with other modes of transportation, both bus and train," said Jokowi ,
