Broke unrest in Lusaka, 2 People Burned-life Life
Two people, reportedly, were burned alive in a riot that broke out in Lusaka, Zambia.
The violence erupted earlier this week in the slums of the capital Zambia, following the murder of seven people, whose body was found without some organs, such as the ears, hearts, and penis.
Local residents accused, foreigners in Zambia were behind the murders allegedly for the ritual.
Riots and looting broke out. Residents targeting shops belonging to foreigners in town.
Hundreds of people pelted houses and shops belonging to foreigners. They also looted a variety of goods, ranging from food, drinks, up to the fridge and electronic equipment.
The explanation was given police spokesman Charity Chanda in a statement quoted by news agency AFP on Wednesday (20/04/2016).
"The official figure of people killed in the rioting and looting are two people. It also includes one of those killed was burned on April 18 in Kanyama," said Chanda.
So far, the police did not confirm the nationality-related death toll.
In response to these riots, Interior Minister Davies Mwila accused, the release of an alleged perpetrator of ritual murder by riot police into the base. The man was known to foreign nationals.
Until now had recorded thousands of Rwandans who became refugees in Lusaka. They are generally open shop, and be a part influential in town.
Residents suspected Rwandan group that is using human organs to certain rituals.
