CEO ISS tell inspiring stories of employees
President Director & Chief Executive Officer of ISS Indonesia Elisa Lumbantoruan proud to share the experience of employees who become frontline. Front liners in the enterprise is a term to refer to those who served as a cleaning service or security in the client company ISS.
ISS itself a labor provider outsourcing company in the field. The story he performed through a video that aired in the awards Best Employee and Golden Heart.
The first video is about Roslina. A cleaning service on duty in a hospital in Medan.
"These impressions have been refined to be worth watching. But the real story is really happening," said Elisa at Graha ISS, Bintaro, Wednesday (11/05/2016).
In the video, Roslina seemed to be cleaning the women's restroom. At that time, he found no human feces spilled onto the floor through the crack in the door toilet. He knocked on the door, wondering what happened to the woman inside.
Roslina face looked shocked when an elderly woman came out of the toilet with clothes covered with dirt.
"Sorry, I can not use the toilet," the grandmother said via video.
Roslina looked smiled at the old lady. Instead of scolding, Roslina even helped the grandmother undressed and mencucikannya. Grandmother's clothes washed in the sink and the toilet drained via hand-dryer. Thereafter, the clothes were given back to the grandmother.
Security kind
Elisa also showed video of other employees who served as access control or that we know called security named Iwan. Iwan served in one of the hospitals in the area of Surabaya.
Once, for 7 consecutive days, Iwan always help a patient named Rudi who serve outpatients. When Rudi fell out of the car, always Iwan who trundle wheelchair Rudi into the hospital.
Rudi condition gradually improved. Inadvertently, Rudi passing in the hospital grounds when Iwan was briefing together with other access control. In the briefing, Rudi heard his name called by Iwan. Iwan invites all to pray for the healing of access control Rudi.
The simple act Iwan was very imprint for Rudi. Evidently, after Rudi healed, he gives a gift to Iwan form umrah trip.
"Terrific was when we noticed our clients with a way to appreciate and desire our presence in the neighborhood," said Elisa.
When company officials is not the main
Elisa describe this job not only requires a good performance. But also of satisfactory service to customers. This makes the frontline became the most important part of the company ISS. For those who deal directly with clients and customers.
"No CEO is so important, but they are," said Elisa.
Moreover, for this company, the number of frontline is 99 percent of the total employees of the company. That is why, in today's awards ceremony, nearly all company officials greeted the hundreds of employees who received awards.
