Police plans to remove the circular letter the spread of communism


Chief of Police Public Relations Division Brig Amar Joey Boy said it plans to issue internal circulars to prevent the resurgence of communism in all regions in Indonesia.


Presently, circulars was still at the discussion stage.

"Being formulated. The plan as an internal guide to the course," said Boy in Police Headquarters, Jakarta, Wednesday (05/11/2016).


Boy said, the spread of communism as the Communist Party of Indonesia has long been sunk. However, recently reappointed crowded, especially in areas outside the capital city.


Therefore, there needs to be a thorough notification to the local police force to remind the dangers of the spread of communism and ask for the order.

"Our friends in that area should know, these tablets, the rule of law what needs to be done to comply with regulations," said Boy.


Boy said, there is a binding legal prohibition about communist ideology developed in Indonesia, namely Article 107 paragraph a, b, c, and d of Law Number 27 of 1999 on Crimes against State Security.


At that time, there are also the Provisional People's Consultative Assembly Decree of the Republic of Indonesia No.XXV / MPRS / 1966 Dissolution of the Communist Party of Indonesia, Statement of Organization Forbidden As in all areas of Indonesia.

Boy asked people not to be provoked by the potential rise of communism.


"And for those who have a problem relating understand communism, Marxism, Leninism, in our country there is a law that is binding," said Boy.
