Joey Alexander looks stunning in front of President Obama


Indonesian jazz pianist Joey Alexander (12) performed with renowned jazz musicians in the presence of US President Barack Obama at the White House, Washington DC, Friday (04/29/2016).


Jazz music performances entitled International Jazz Day All-Star Global Concert was held in the backyard of the US president's official residence.

As reported by the New York Times, Saturday (04/30/2016), Joey performing musician Wayne Shorter (sax) and Esperanza Spalding (bass). This trio brings Shorter composition titled "Footprints" which was released in 1966.


New York Times writes, the third game of the musicians are complementary. The song flowed like streams of water in a small stream.


"Bring (listeners) to a different experience within four minutes and be the purest musical conversation in the concert," wrote the New York Times.


Though all three age difference was striking. Shorter was 82 years old and has worked since 1958. Meanwhile Spalding, a cello and bass player and vocalist, aged 31 years.


"Mr Alexander was 12 years old, it was the first thing that usually is known about him. But with the game, people forget his age," according to the New York Times.


Earlier, a video uploaded on Youtube accounts Eric Rosenbaum, Thursday (04/28/2016), shows the trio Joey Alexander, Esperanza Spalding, and Wayne Shorter, appearing in one of the rooms in the White House.


"At the White House, warming up with Footprints," Rosenbaum wrote as the caption video entitled "Wayne Shorter, Esperanza Spalding, Joey Alexander" it.


In the video duration 47 seconds it seemed the three musicians playing jazz was watched by several people. Wayne Shorter plays his saxophone while seated, while Spalding membetot bass.


Joey tiny body covered grand piano. Just heard piano music plays bersahutan tones produced two senior musicians.

Joey also had to share the news via his Twitter account. He uploaded a photo with musicians Chick Corea, who also performed at the White House, on the way to the White House.

"On the bus with one of my heroes @ChickCorea on route to the White House #internationaljazz day," wrote Joey.


With actor Morgan Freeman as host, the All-Star Global Concert held to celebrate International Jazz Day which falls on 29 April.

Events held by the UNESCO was held in a different city every year. In 2015, Paris became home, after Osaka, Japan, were selected.


In his speech, Obama said, this year's jazz return to their homeland, America.


"Tonight I invite all of my favorite jazz musicians to perform at the backyard of the White House, one of the advantages of being president,


Musicians and top vocalists who performed on the occasion of which Herbie Hancock, James Morrison, Bobby Watson, Aretha Franklin, Al Jarreau, Jamie Cullum, Chick Corea, Pat Metheny, Marcus Miller, Sting, and Buddy Guy.
