TVS Indonesia more sales abroad


TVS Motor Company Indonesia (TMCI) reported sales revenue of the financial year April 2015 - March 2016, amounted to 17 130 units. But, 88 percent (15,000 units) of it is not sold in the country but is sent as an export product.


The company representative from India is indeed focus on overseas markets. So far, more than 15,000 units continue to be distributed to the country - a country in Southeast Asia, the Middle East, and some in Africa.
TMCI in an official statement on Thursday (28/04/2016), explains, the results of the financial year 2015-2016 revealed decreased 26.7 percent from the previous period, from 2014 to 2015, reaching 23 888 units. Drop in sales of so-called deeper than the decline in the national motorcycle market was due to economic conditions affecting the nation's two-wheeler industry.

In the financial year 2016 - 2017, TMCI expect no improvement. The strategy has been prepared which adds to dealers, especially in and around Jakarta and West Java, following the opening of new export land in Asia and Africa.


For the sake of refreshing options, TMCI also going to launch several variants facelift. Previous TMCI has introduced two new models, Skutik Dazz DFI and Apache RTR 200.
