The cause of increased frequency of exhaust gas

Fart or flatulence is a natural process of the digestive system. Spending gas from the stomach that often makes people ashamed because they can emit odor.

Within a day, someone could fart 14 times. However, some are more than that due to excessive gas in the stomach. What are the causes? Here are five things that can cause a person often fart according to Patricia Raymond physicians from the American College of Gastroenterology.

1. Take Flight

Have you ever felt always wanted to fart while on the plane? Do not be surprised if it happens. Research shows, at altitudes while on an airplane could cause widespread gas in the body. As a result, the stomach becomes bloated and want to fart.

2. Eat healthy

Eating healthy foods like fruits, vegetables, grains, and beans could actually trigger a person to remove gas that smells.

Examples of foods that can make the stomach gaseous include onions, broccoli, cauliflower, cabbage, and also sprouts or bean sprouts. This is because the food contains raffinose which triggers a person often fart. Raffinose difficult to be digested by the stomach and small intestine.

3. Too much air

Fart can be derived from gases produced in our large intestine. Others, it could be from the air that goes into our digestive tract. It is called aerophagia by eating too fast, eating candy, or it could be because a lot of drinking carbonated beverages. The good news, if many swallow air, which comes out tends to fart not smell.

4. It is difficult to absorb nutrients

Often fart can also occur when the digestive system is difficult to absorb certain nutrients. Everyone has different reactions to different types of food. But generally problems with the absorption of lactose.

5. Disease

If the intensity of fart changes from day to day, be aware of the presence of diseases of the digestive system.

According to doctors Raymon, often fart, feel stomach gaseous and bloating can be symptoms of diarrhea or constipation. In fact, if the fart too often malodorous could be symptoms of IBS (Irritable bowel syndrome) and celiac disease.
