Jokowi President welcomed the President of Serbia
President Joko Widodo receive state visit of President of Serbia Tomislav Nikolic at the presidential palace on Wednesday (04/27/2016).
This visit is a follow up of the previous bilateral meeting with Jokowi while attending the Summit (Summit) on Climate Change in Paris, November 2016 ago.
At this meeting, Jokowi and Nikolic signed several cooperation of two countries.
"First, the visa exemption for holders of diplomatic passports and service passports of both countries," said President Ari Dwipayana Communications Team on Wednesday.
Secondly, the cooperation forged between the Ministry of Education and Culture with the Ministry of Education, Science and Technological Development of the Republic of Serbia.
The first in 58 years
In his speech, appreciated the visit Nikolic Jokowi. Therefore, this visit is the first visit since 58 years ago.
He hopes the visit was to improve cooperation between the two countries.
"I would like to prioritize cooperation in the economic field, especially in the fields of trade and investment. Second, in the social and cultural fields, particularly in education," said Jokowi.
President Nikolic were similar. According to him, this visit further strengthen the two countries.
In 2015, the two countries agreed to cooperate and invest in the sector of processed products.
"We are keen to build distribution for semi-products originating from Indonesia and will be completed in Serbia for distribution in the European market," said Nikolic.
On this Wednesday night, accompanied by First Lady Iriana Jokowi and Nikolic were also accompanied by First Lady Dragica Nikolic followed by a state dinner reception.
