Beware, this habit can trigger depression!


Depression is usually caused by factors beyond our control, such as the death of a loved one, loss of a job, or financial problems. But, little choice you make every day can also affect mood more than you realize.


In social media habits, exercise routine, and even the way you walk can reduce happiness and you may not realize it. Fortunately, this behavior can be changed.

Read on to know that there are at least 12 things that can sabotage your mood and what you can do to change it.


1. You bent when walking


How we feel may affect the way we walk. And vice versa, according to a study published in the Journal of Behavior Therapy and Experimental Psychiatry.


The researchers found that when subjects were asked to walk with his shoulders hunched, and with a minimum arm movement, they experienced a bad mood than those who have a passion in their stride.


Do this: Lift your chin and straighten your shoulders to feel the positive mood.


2. You shoot everything

"Attack taunts and malicious harassment at a point of pride and self-esteem continuously, it could be devastating. It makes you emotionally unstable that even hard to get up out of bed and go to work."


Do This: The Workplace Bullying Institute recommends that you first make an appointment with a psychologist to discuss your physical and mental health, as well as how to resolve and end the evil mockery.


4. You do not exercise


If you become more physically active three times a week, the risk of stress and pressure will drop by 19 percent, according to a new study in JAMA Psychiatry dinuat.


After following more than 11,000 people and record the symptoms of depression and level of physical activity on a regular basis, researchers at University College London found a correlation between physical activity and depression.


People who are depressed are less likely to perform physical activity. Whenever you are physically active, risk of depression decreased by six percent.

Leonard suggest you engage in activities that help break down the anxiety. This way you can put a little element of fun into work.


6. You are in a toxic relationship


"I have many clients who suffer from anxiety and depression but did not realize it because the relationship is toxic," said Leonard.


"It is eating away their self-esteem. The couple they make them believe that they are incompetent, or selfish. Sometimes it takes years for people to realize that their depression and anxiety they come from an unhealthy relationship."


Do this: you may need some help with this one issue. First, read about the signs that your spouse may be rough.


Then, consult with a professional psychologist, a family member or close friend to help you recognize the signs of violence.


7. You are seriously


Sometimes, life is hard tap laugh remains important. Find some way to laugh again. "There are many studies that show the benefits of laughter on our health, including mental health," said Leonard. "Laughter is the fastest drug to overcome anxiety and depression."


Do this: Look for humor every day. Watching funny TV shows, or spend time with friends who make you smile. You could even try volunteering by working with small children.


8. Your lack of sleep


"Sleep affects everything," said Diedra L. Clay, PsyD, professor of the department of counseling psychology and health at Bastyr University.


"Sleep is our body's way of regeneration and without it we would be a malfunctioning of the system."


Do this: Try to figure out why you can not sleep and then take steps to create a quiet environment.


9. You're never alone


Between kids, work, marriage, and other activities, you can not find time for yourself.


Leonard stressed the importance of finding time for yourself, whether it was 10 minutes, an hour, or a day. Without taking time to do things for yourself, depression and anxiety will haunt, said Leonard.


Do this: Schedule time for yourself, to do the things you love like a salon or yoga.


10. You do not really talk to anyone


If you use social media to keep in touch with friends, meaning you do not have a meaningful social contact.


Social media has claimed that the true togetherness. This is evident from how busy people are monitoring social media in the future when there are others.


Do this: Be sure to schedule time out with friends or family to do fun activities in the real world.


11. You can not live without cell phones


When was the last time you really free electronic devices? Do not remember? Not a good sign.


"With all the tools we have, we tend to be selfish. The gadget also disturb the resting time is essential to the regeneration of our body and mind." Eventually, this can lead to depression or anxiety.
